Most Zearn Digital Lessons include guided Students Notes, so that students are learning digitally and bringing that learning to life on paper. Student Notes help students transfer learning and strengthen retention, and they are a critical part of independent learning on Zearn.
As you can see in the 2nd grade Math chat below, students receive digital feedback as they complete their notes, providing them with learning opportunities as they check their work. Make sure your students have paper materials printed and ready as they start their Digital Lessons (see this student's workstation for an example!).
Download and print a set for each student on your Curriculum page or order conveniently printed and bound Zearn Student Workbooks at our Online Store. (For further information on the value of student notes and where to locate them, see the images below)

Students compare their work to the correct solution, and learn from the feedback.
To access the printable student notes: after logging into Zearn select the Grades option at the top of the page.
Next, you'll select the Grade and Mission that your students will be working on.
After selecting the Grade and Mission, you'll see a Student Notes option in the box labelled Independent Digital Lessons. Selecting that option will bring you to a printable PDF of student notes for that mission.
