As students work through digital lessons, they're asked to complete problems on paper during Guided Practice. These problems can be found in Student Notes. Completing problems on paper helps students transfer their digital learning and strengthen retention. Students receive digital support as they complete their Student Notes, providing them with learning opportunities as they check their work. Teachers should check Student Notes weekly to monitor engagement, celebrate self-checking, and note the variety of strategies being used by students.
Student Notes for each Mission for digital lessons are available in Zearn Notes Books or can be downloaded and printed individually from teacher accounts. Student Notes can be found by clicking on the Curriculum tab of any teacher or admin account, then navigating to the desired Grade and Mission. From there, scroll down to find the Student Notes underneath the Independent Digital Lessons section.
