In Grades 1-5, if a student is struggling in the Tower of Power, he or she receives scaffolded remediation at the precise moment of misconception. This is called a Boost. If a student struggles multiple times in the Tower of Power, the teacher receives a Tower Alert. The Tower Alert reports the Independent Digital Lesson the student struggled with, when they struggled, and whether they have completed that Tower and moved on to the next Independent Digital Lesson. Teachers use this report to identify specific areas where students need support, and can use the information to plan mini-lessons for students struggling with similar ideas. These alerts can be sorted by date, student, and lesson.
