In Grades 1-5, if a student is struggling in the Tower of Power, they receive scaffolded remediation at the precise moment of misconception. This is called a Boost. If a student struggles multiple times in the Tower of Power, the teacher receives a Tower Alert. The Tower Alert reports the Independent Digital Lesson the student struggled with, when they struggled, and whether they have completed that Tower and moved on to the next Independent Digital Lesson. These alerts can be sorted by date, student, and lesson. Teachers can use this report – along with other lesson-level assessments – to plan Flex Day mini-lessons for students struggling with similar ideas.
