From your Admin Snapshot, you can now download a CSV list of every student behind the School Year Lesson Completion histogram. The list is organized into the same lesson completion bands shown in the histogram, so you can quickly see which students need support and which are on track.
When to use this
Use this export when you want to:
- Flag students who haven't completed enough lessons so teachers can follow up
- Celebrate students or classes who are making strong progress
- Get a school- or district-wide view of where students fall on the lesson completion curve
How to download the list
Step 1: Open the export modal
- Go to your Admin Snapshot
- Click the Drive Impact tile on the right side of the report
- Scroll to the School Year Lesson Completion histogram
- Click Export Student Data
Step 2: Review modal details and download
- The modal shows the filters currently applied to your Snapshot (schools, grades, classes) and a preview image of the CSV, so you know exactly what you’re about to download
- Click Download to start the export process
Step 3: Receive and review your file
- You will receive the file one of two ways, depending on how many schools are selected
- One school: The file downloads right away, and you'll see a confirmation screen
- Two or more schools: The file is too large to download directly, so it's emailed to you instead
If there is no email address on file to send the report to, you will see an error message instead of an email confirmation. You can check your account’s email settings and try again.
What's in the file
The download includes every student in the histogram. There are 7 columns of data:
- School
- Class
- Student grade
- Last name
- First name
- Lessons completed (either On/Above-Grade or Total, matching whatever the histogram toggle was set to)
- Lesson Completion Band: 0, 1–14, 15–29, 30–44, 45–59, 60–74, 75–89, 90–104, 105–119, 120+
Additional notes:
- Students are listed in the same order as the histogram, from lowest completion to highest
- The file name includes the date of the download, title of the export, and the filter details
- If students belong to more than one school or class, they will be separate by commas (for example “Lincoln Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary”)
Tip: On/Above-Grade Lessons Completed is the default selection for the histogram and the CSV download. If you would like to see Total Lessons Completed in your download instead, switch the toggle on the histogram before clicking Export Student Data
